Speaker Spotlight
Nithya Sree Nagarajan, December 2024, 4th place
“Embarrassment has often accompanied me, from mispronouncing "ratatouille" in French class to screaming in fear as a doctor treated my bleeding nose. But what haunts me most is the struggle of cancer survivors, like myself, who face barriers to education after treatment. While I was fortunate to continue my studies, many are not. Today, I ask not just for support in saving lives, but for ensuring cancer survivors have the opportunities they deserve. By donating at religious venues or businesses, we can help restore their right to education and make them feel worthy of the life they’ve fought to keep.”
